Chapter 811 A Complete Circus
I didn’t get a reply until evening.
“If you’re planning to hurt me or my baby, I suggest you don’t.”
I didn’t expect Opaline to be this defensive. Clearly, she still planned to use the baby for leverage.

“People know what’s right and wrong. I’ve run my company for years and never done anything so vile. You have nothing to worry about, Ms. Monte.”
I sent the message and sighed to myself.
If it were anyone else, they’d probably be fighting with their mate by now.
But I trust Caden. He’d never do something like this.
“I’m waiting for you at the café by your house.” I hit send.
This time, Opaline agreed to meet.
I exhaled. As long as she’s willing to talk, we can work something out.
The wedding drama wasn’t over yet, Richard was still sick, and Caden was swamped. Right now, I was the only one who could handle Opaline.
An hour later, I sat inside the café and watched as Opaline walked in cautiously.
“Hi, Ms. Monte.” I gave her a small smile and pointed to the seat across from me. “Have a seat.”
She still looked nervous, eyes locked on me as she sat down, both hands hidden under her jacket.
I noticed the bulge at her side. It looked like she was carrying some kind of knife.
Cautious, aren’t you?
“No need to look at me like that, Ms. Monte. I came alone.” I laid everything out. “Tell me–what do I have to do to make you leave the Eclipse Pack and me alone?”
Seeing how calm I was, her expression shifted. The arrogance she walked in with softened.
But she quickly lifted her chin and snapped, “Whatever Caden did, he needs to take responsibility. He should be raising my baby.”
Bold move. She actually wanted Caden to raise her baby.
I stayed quiet for a moment, then asked, “And how exactly do you know the baby is his?”
“You think I wouldn’t know who I slept with, huh?” Opaline sneered.
I frowned and shot back, “Nobody can be that sure. There are plenty of werewolves built like Caden.
I paused, then pressed further. You said on your livestream last night it was dark. How could you even tell it was him? What if you were wrong?”
“Ms. Sinclair, don’t even try to argue with me about this,” Opaline said coldly, locking eyes with mine. I

don’t care how dark it was. The wolf was standing right in front of me. You think I wouldn’t recognize him. He got me pregnant. Who else am I supposed to go after?”
“You know full well Caden and I are mated now. We’ve built a family. You show up out of nowhere, claiming your unborn baby is his. Without solid proof, anyone could say Caden slept with them. Anyone could demand he raise their baby.”
Opaline didn’t budge. Her face was cold as she shot back, “You want proof? Fine. We can go to the hospital and run the tests. The question is, does Caden even dare go with me?”
Seeing how smug she looked, I shook my head. “I didn’t expect you to be this stubborn, Ms. Monte. I have nothing more to say.”
“He sleeps with me and denies it. And you–his mate–come running to defend him. What a perfect couple you two make!”
Her mockery made my face darken. My voice turned sharp as I said, “I came here to discuss the baby. But if you’re going to use this baby to threaten the Eclipse Pack, have you even considered the consequences?”
“Consequences?” She sneered. “I crashed your wedding, didn’t I? You think I’m scared of you?”
I knew there was no reasoning with her. She was ready to burn everything down. And with her being pregnant, my hands were tied.
I stood up. “In that case, Ms. Monte, there’s nothing left to talk about.”
“There was never anything to talk about,” she said with a smirk. Gripping the edge of the table, she slowly pushed herself up, one hand cradling her swollen belly.
Seeing how unsteady she was, I had no choice but to help her out of the café.
“Rosaline! It’s Rosaline!”
I heard someone shout my name behind me. The moment I turned, a mob of werewolf reporters came swarming toward us, cameras flashing as they rushed over.
