Chapter 769 Jessica’s New Job
I smiled faintly, not really in the mood to play along anymore.
But this time, the Whirlwind Pack crossed my line again and again, pushing me past my limit.
I took a deep breath and called Juliet over.
“Take a look at this.”

Juliet took the phone and saw the video. She immediately recognized the werewolf in it–the caretaker who’d looked after her since she was a child.
“How could he … “Juliet looked shocked and said, “I’m really sorry. I didn’t expect this.”
I said coldly, “You know how I am. Now that I’ve found out, I won’t let this slide.”
Juliet could only nod in agreement. “Yeah, I get it.”
After all, it was her own clan that messed up, and she seemed helpless about it.
Back in my office, I uploaded the surveillance video and the contract Whirlwind Pack had sent to the internet.
Sure enough, it didn’t take long before a storm erupted online.
Netizens flooded the Whirlwind Pack with insults. Overnight, they lost millions of followers on Twitter, and even the company’s stock took a hit.
The Whirlwind Pack was caught off guard, scrambling to hire online trolls to save face, but it was too late.
Their dream of entering the entertainment industry was completely shattered. Their entertainment company shut down and never recovered.
This round, I won again.
Caden’s POV:
“Good morning, Ms. Sullivan.”
Hearing the name, I turned to see an employee greeting a female werewolf not far ahead, head slightly bowed.
I frowned. As far as I remembered, there was no one named Sullivan working here.
Soon, Jessica appeared in a black and white uniform, makeup flawless, walking toward me with confidence.
“What are you doing here?” I asked./
“Naturally, I came to work.” Jessica gave a graceful smile and calmly handed me her badge.
The word “Administrator” stood out clearly, with the company listed as Eclipse Group.
I felt a flash of irritation. Jessica had joined my company, and as the CEO, I wasn’t even informed?
“Get back to work,” I said, lifting a hand and turning to leave. But her voice stopped me.

“Is that all you’re going to say after seeing me?”
“Just focus on your job.” I threw the line over my shoulder and left.
Back in my office, I immediately called Grandpa.
“What’s going on? How did Jessica become an admin here?”

“You know my connection with the Stars Pack. Jessica came to me herself. I owed them a favor–I had no choice.”
“You let her in just to repay a favor?” I was annoyed. Jessica’s competence aside, if this brought any backlash toward Rosaline, it would be a mess.”
“When you become an Alpha, you’ll understand–favors aren’t easy to turn down,” Grandpa said with a sigh. I had nothing to say. I wasn’t an Alpha yet. When Grandpa made a call, I had no choice but to accept it.
Since she was already in, I could only let it go for now.
No wonder the office had been buzzing this morning. So this was what it was all about.
While I was still on the phone, Rosaline had already arrived at the building.
A swarm of reporters surrounded Rosaline by the time I headed down to meet her.
“Ms. Sinclair, do you feel threatened by Ms. Sullivan joining the company?” Reporters pushed microphones at her from every angle.
Rosaline had no choice but to respond. “If Ms. Sullivan got the job, it’s because of her ability.”
“In that case, won’t that cause conflict between you and Mr. Holbrook?”
“Do you think it’s really ability, or was someone pulling strings?”
Rosaline was caught off guard and clearly didn’t know how to respond.
“What’s going on?” I stepped forward, forcing my way through the reporters until I reached her side.
“I–I was just worried about you,” she said the moment she saw me, relaxing visibly.
“It’s Mr. Holbrook! Mr. Holbrook is here!” The reporters cried out, turning every camera toward me. “Mr. Holbrook, what’s your take on Ms. Sullivan’s employment?”
“The Eclipse Group is known for strict hiring–was this your decision?”
In an instant, all eyes were on me.
“Everyone, one at a time.” I tried to keep up, but Rosaline swiftly redirected the attention back to herself.
Her timing was perfect.
Usually, I wouldn’t care what reporters said. But this was about Jessica. If someone twisted the story, things could spiral fast.

“First of all, Ms. Sullivan joined the Eclipse Group through the normal interview process it has nothing to do with either of us,” Rosaline said, calm and composed. “We’re in love. Please don’t overthink it,”
