Chapter 764 Blatant Harassment
Juliet’s POV:
I stepped out of the apartment, just past the door, and locked eyes with a familiar gaze.
My heart skipped a beat.
Those eyes–I knew them all too well.
“Juliet!”
Dayne waved and hurried toward me, practically running.
“Going to work? I brought you breakfast. It’s still warm, your favorite.”
He handed me a hot dog and coffee, but I instinctively stepped back and didn’t take it.
“Thanks, I already ate.” I refused lightly and tried to walk past him, but he blocked me.
“You’re lying. You never used to eat breakfast–no wonder you always had GERD.”
“Whether I eat or not is none of your business.” I pushed him away, annoyed.
Maybe I pushed too hard–his breakfast fell to the ground, coffee spilling everywhere.
“What a waste…” Dayne smiled, unfazed, watching me. “You’re going to work, right? I’ll walk you.”
“No need.” I said firmly, my face darkening. “If you have nothing else, I’ll go now.”
“Don’t go.” Dayne suddenly grabbed my shoulder..

I pulled his hand off, coldly staring at him. He sighed and spread his arms. “We haven’t seen each other in so long. I just wanted to invite you out to eat and catch up a bit.”
“We have nothing to catch up on.” I glared at him sharply. Now, Dayne was a stranger to me. I didn’t understand why he had suddenly appeared and was bothering me like this.
He reached for my hand again, but I dodged.
“Sir, please show some respect.” I was losing patience.
I wondered what was wrong with him. Had he forgotten everything he did to me before?
“It’s okay, just one meal. I promise I won’t do anything.”
He wouldn’t give up, blocking my way and pestering me.
“Move aside. I growled angrily. “What is this, exactly?”
I just want to have dinner with you. What’s wrong with that? Dayne looked almost obsessed, a frustration, only stubbornness.
I was surprised.
I knew his personally well – If it had been before he would’ve walked away sheri

“No,” I said coldly. “If you want to impress someone, go flatter those young models outside. They’re probably more sensible than me.”
I knew we were done. We had nothing left between us. There was no need for us to have dinner together.
I tightened my grip on my phone. Before leaving, I’d already noticed Dayne and sent Rosaline a message.
She should be on her way.
Rosaline’s POV:
I got Juliet’s text while on my way to work and immediately turned the wheel toward her place.
Sure enough, as soon as I arrived at the door, I saw Dayne harassing my best friend–he was already getting hands–on. Juliet couldn’t break free, her face burning with anger as she shouted at him.
“Juliet!” I ran over.
Hearing my voice, Juliet’s face lit up. She pushed Dayne hard and ran straight to me without looking back.
“Rosie…” She hid behind me, her voice trembling with emotion.
“It’s okay, I’m here.” I soothed her softly.
Dayne rushed over, stopped when he saw me, and gave a sly smile.
“What are you doing here?” I asked coldly.
“Don’t be so tense.” Dayne waved his hand..
I sneered, “Harassing a girl in broad daylight? If you really have problems, there’s a psychiatric ward just a right turn ahead. The werewolf doctor there would be perfect for you.”
His face instantly darkened. “I just wanted to invite Ms. Lafferty to dinner. Ms. Sinclair, no need to get so worked up.”
“Don’t think I forgot what you did before.” My eyes froze on him.
“Let the past go. Bringing it up now is pointless.” He scoffed, trying to sweep it under the rug.
“Hah.” I sneered, stepping forward and grabbing his collar. “You’ve changed since coming back. You keep harassing Juliet. What do you want?”
His expression shifted in an instant. “None of your business. I just want to have dinner with her.
“Don’t blame me if I stop showing you any respect!” I shoved him back by his collar, warning sharply, Juliet is just a pure girl. She did so much for you once. Now you’re bothering her? That’s unheard of
“Oh?” Dayne smirked darkly, licking his lips like he enjoyed the game. She’s just a toy I can throw away whenever I want.
Juliet gripped my hand, trembling all over at those words.
Shut up! I snapped at Dayne I’d tried to give him some dignity, but it was clear he

about to let that happen–I twisted his arm down. Juliet stepped forward and slapped him across the face again.
