Chapter 821 I’m Pregnant
Richard’s POV:
In the end, things between Caden and me didn’t end well.
I knew there was no way to change his mind, so I pretended to leave the hospital in anger.

But I didn’t go far. After stepping outside, I told the driver to leave with the car while I quietly slipped back into the inpatient building through a side entrance.
What I didn’t expect was to find Rosaline already awake.
Not surprising, though–she’s an Alpha. Her body healed faster than most.
Still, my foolish grandson hadn’t figured out who Rosaline truly was.
I didn’t see any point in revealing it. Let the younger ones deal with their own messy love lives.
But when it came to the future Alpha of the Eclipse Pack, I couldn’t just stand by and do nothing.
It was my responsibility as Alpha to protect our bloodline.
Of course, I wanted Rosaline to survive, but the doctor’s diagnosis was clear–the wolfsbane had caused serious damage.
Only one could live–either her or the child.
I crept up to the back window of her hospital room and spotted Caden beside her.
“How are you feeling? Any pain?” he asked softly.
“I’m okay,” Rosaline said, her voice scratchy and faint.
Caden held her hand and brought it to his face. That’s all I care about–as long as you’re alright.”
“Tell me a joke, Caden,” she whispered with a sweet smile.
“Huh?” He blinked. “Jokes just come naturally–I can’t make one up on the spot.”
“Then let’s chat,” she murmured, curling up in his arms.
“Okay.”
I sighed while watching from outside.
Caden’s feelings for Rosaline ran too deep–he’d never accept my decision.
I needed to act.
If I didn’t, we could lose both Rosaline and the baby.
I pulled out my phone, made a call, and quietly gave a set of orders.
Soon after, Caden’s phone buzzed inside the room. He glanced at it and quickly stepped out to answer.

On the line was a director at Eclipse Group, who was also my former subordinate.
He was following my plan, telling Caden about a major problem at the company that needed his attention.
Caden frowned, glanced back at Rosaline resting in the bed, and quietly said, “I’ll head over now
He returned to the room, gently kissed her forehead while she slept, then reluctantly walked away.
Moments later, I received a message.
“Alpha, Mr. Holbrook agreed. He’s on his way back.”
I ended the call and made my way to Rosaline’s room.
A few werewolf guards followed me inside.
After a respectful bow, they added a sedative to her IV and rolled her bed out of the hospital room.
To make sure Caden didn’t grow suspicious, I even signed her discharge papers using her name before leaving.
I had to make this decision for the future of the Eclipse Pack’s bloodline.
Rosaline’s POV:
When I opened my eyes, I was shocked to find myself on an airplane.
The flight was bumpy, and I didn’t dare move a muscle.
After a while, the ride smoothed out, and Richard came over with a cup of water.
“You’re up,” he said as he placed it near me.
I looked around, confused. “Richard, what happened?”
I took a tiny sip and realized I was inside the Eclipse Pack’s private jet.
Only Richard and I were onboard.
“Things are too chaotic over there. I’m bringing you somewhere safe so you can relax and focus on the baby,” he said with a gentle smile.
“Focus on the baby?” I repeated, shocked as I glanced down at my flat stomach. “Wait … I’m pregnant?”
“Yes,” he nodded, just as surprised. “Caden didn’t mention it?”
“No,” I told him, shaking my head.
My thoughts were spinning.
“Freya, what’s happening?” I asked my wolf.
“Beats me. But congrats, Alpha–we’re expecting,” Freya replied with a purr in my soul.
I turned to Richard. “Where’s Caden?”

“He had some work to handle. He asked me to bring you ahead,” he answered.

I was about to ask more questions when the captain’s voice suddenly came over the intercom, announcing we were preparing to land.
As the plane shook again, I leaned back on the bed, scared to move.
Once we were on the ground, a few maids in uniforms came to help me out.
Something felt off–I wasn’t that weak, but Richard kept acting overly cautious, reminding them repeatedly to treat me gently.
I didn’t have the heart to refuse his kindness, so I let them assist me as we headed toward the shoreline.
The second my feet hit the sand, I froze in shock.
