I was completely unaware of the chaos happening on the internet.
Lately, I’d been spending all my time beside Grandpa.

Ever since he was hospitalized, Mom had barely left his side either. She constantly stared at her phone, scrolling through online gossip, and would lean in close just to complain to me.
“Look at this! Your mate is a two–faced Omega slut! And she’s still tangled up with Connor? Caden, you really need to open your eyes. Don’t let her play you again.”
The more I listened, the more frustrated I became. I finally instructed my people to escort Mom out.
But she sat on the floor of the hospital room, throwing a tantrum.
“I’m not leaving,” she insisted, refusing to leave.
I pulled her aside and snapped, “Grandpa’s resting. You’re going to wake him up shouting like that.”
She shot back, “Don’t try to use Alpha to scare me. I’m still your mother and the lady of Eclipse Pack. I’m not going anywhere!”
My expression hardened. “Grandpa didn’t say you could be here.”
She grew more furious. “So what if he didn’t? Even if Alpha wakes up this very minute, I’m not going!”

Just then, Grandpa’s hoarse cough echoed through the room.
I rushed over to help him sit up in bed.
“What did you say just now?” Grandpa stared at Mom with a chilling expression, his tone sharp and full of authority.
His commanding presence made her freeze in place.
“I’ve been hearing you make a fuss this whole time. What are you trying to prove?”
His voice was rough, so I quickly handed him a glass of water.
Mom’s body shook slightly as she lowered her head, too afraid to respond.
“You had a lot to say a moment ago. What happened to that confidence?” Grandpa asked, his gaze hard and steady.
I quietly let out a breath. Now that Grandpa was conscious, Mom wouldn’t dare stir up more trouble.
A few moments later, Grandpa called two werewolf warriors into the ward. His voice was low but firm. “I allowed you back only because of Caden’s wedding, but your behavior hasn’t changed at all. Clearly, you don’t belong here anymore.”
“No, I didn’t mean any harm. I’m just worried about Caden,” Mom tried to defend herself, but Grandpa’s sharp stare stopped her instantly.
He said, “It’s too late for excuses. What’s done can’t be undone. You should go now.” With a wave of his hand he dismissed her.

I turned to face Mom, my expression calm and unreadable.

trouble. she kept shouting and stirring up
Grandpa continued, “If it’s too much for you, then go wait outside. I need rest. If you keep making a scene like this, you’re gonna stress me to death.”
Mom fell silent after that, her head lowered as the werewolf warriors gently escorted her out of the hospital.
“Caden, get her a plane ticket. Send her abroad. She won’t be able to bother you from there,” Grandpa said. looking over at me.
I gave a slight nod and held his hand tightly, thankful for his help.
As an Alpha, he knew the pressure I was under.
Even though she was my biological mother, I couldn’t bring myself to punish her. Grandpa chose to step in and decide for me.
I exited the ward and asked Beta to arrange her flight. She left abroad that same day.
Now that she was finally out of the picture, I could handle the rest of my troubles without any distractions.
