Right now, Opaline and I were both under the spotlight. The moment that video dropped, it blew up.
“That build and that back–that’s gotta be Caden!”
Someone commented, and soon, the clip shot to the top of the trending list.
But as things started snowballing, people noticed something was off.
The man in the video was cozying up to Opaline. He bought her dessert and fed her, bite after bite.
Their sweet, clingy vibe caught everyone’s attention fast.
The guy’s back looked exactly like Caden’s, but his face never showed. In fact, it felt like he was purposely avoiding the camera.
And Opaline claimed this was surveillance footage, conveniently angled right at their table.
The whole thing felt a little too coincidental. For a while, everyone was stuck in this weird zone between real and fake.
But then someone commented, “Didn’t Opaline accuse Caden of being a scumbag? Why is she getting all lovey–dovey with him now?”
That one comment made everyone pause.
If she really hated him that much, why would they be sneaking around together?
The headline “Caden Is Confirmed a Jerk” shot to number one. Opaline? She didn’t say a word and just let it ,all keep spiraling.
Soon enough, the comment section wasn’t just dragging Caden–people started turning on Opaline too, calling her the homewrecker.
Things got way out of hand. Some netizens even lost it and flooded my and Caden’s Twitter, spamming s with hate.
The trending topics were basically a war zone about the four of us. Some were bashing me and Connor; others were calling Caden a scumbag. A newlywed couple, roasted to hell and back online.
Staring at the trending list and all the comments, I was beyond speechless.
I never imagined Opaline would pull such a dirty stunt. Unbelievable.
I glanced at Caden. He had been with me the entire afternoon, so there was no way he had time to meet her.
I frowned. The video wasn’t super convincing, but still enough to fool half the internet..
Noticing my face, Caden walked over and pulled me into his arms. “What’s wrong?”
His voice was warm, low, and calming.
“Those comments online. They’re getting to me,” I muttered, snuggling into his chest with a slight pout.
“They’ve always been like this. Just ignore them.” He chuckled softly, his hand gently rubbing my waist.

I shook my head and pulled away from Caden’s arms. “No. If we keep waiting, she’s gonna get what she
wants.”
I thought back to my face–off with Opaline earlier today. She was calm and cold. There was not a single flaw in her story, and I had no strategy to counter it.
And now she’s spinning even more lies online. This was clearly premeditated.
I grabbed my phone and snapped a few selfies with Caden.
We posed for a few shots, made sure to use a watermark app that stamped today’s date, and even shot a quick video.
I deliberately shoved Caden’s face right up to the camera–just to make it crystal clear that Opaline’s video was total BS.
Then I posted the clip online.
The response was huge. Quickly, people started noticing the difference–my video actually showed his face, unlike hers. Finally, something that felt real.
The tide started to turn. But a lot of people were still stuck on her earlier video and didn’t fully buy mine.
The whole thing kept brewing. Now some users started going after Opaline, saying she had no shame. “If Caden’s already mated with Rosaline, why’s Opaline still all over him? She’s doing it on purpose.”
Others pointed out, “Didn’t they only meet by accident? How are they suddenly this close?”
Clearly, Opaline’s story was full of holes too.
She must’ve been watching all this closely, because she struck back fast–hiring an army of trolls to flood my Twitter and stir the pot.
“Your husband did that, and you’re still smiling? How do you even stomach it?”
“We shouldn’t allow scumbags like Caden to hurt more girls.”
I frowned, reading the comments.
Caden, on the other hand, didn’t seem to care. He’d long since learned to tune this kind of thing out.
At this point, there was no stopping the online chaos. I decided to just let it be, put my phone d back to work.
That’s when something new popped up–two major influencers, each with nearly a million followers, started a livestream on Twitter using Opaline’s and my names to bait viewers.
The crowd swarmed in immediately.
Curious, I logged in with a burner account to check it out.
And what I saw it scared the crap out of me.
