Chapter 803 Turning the Tables
The mysterious caller hung up right after saying those chilling words.
I immediately dialed Caden’s number, but no one answered.
Panicking. I called his beta and finally got through. That’s when I found out Caden had indeed gone to the Monarch Hotel for a meeting.
The one who invited him? Nicolas, an Alpha from the Stars Pack.
During the corporate war where the Eclipse Pack attacked the Rampage Pack, the Stars Pack joined in and profited handsomely. They’d taken over quite a few of Jack’s assets. As a gesture of goodwill, Nicolas had invited Caden to discuss a new partnership.
I frowned. In the business world, the enemy of your enemy is your friend. It wasn’t unusual for Caden to meet Nicolas. But then, what was that phone call about?
I rushed to the Monarch Hotel and spotted Caden’s car parked right out front.
I stepped inside, took the elevator to the sixth floor, and went straight to suite 0613. Through the open doorway, I could see Caden seated at the table.
I was just about to approach when a woman suddenly stood up behind him.
My heart skipped a beat. It was Jessica.
She was draped over Caden’s shoulder, trying to steady his swaying figure.
Both of them were flushed, unsteady on their feet, barely able to stand upright.
“You don’t have to help me,” Caden muttered, trying to push Jessica away.
But she clung tightly to him, her lips almost brushing his cheek. “Mr. Holbrook, you’re drunk. Let me help you back to your room.”
“No need. I have to return to the office.” he protested weakly, then collapsed to the floor.
I could smell a strange scent in the air.
“Alpha. He’s been drugged,” Freya warned in my mind.
I nodded grimly. The scene made everything crystal clear. Nicolas had lured Caden here, drugged him, and sent Jessica to take advantage of him.
I’d seen this play out too many times before.
And I had no doubt that the place was crawling with hidden reporters, waiting to catch Caden, Alpha of the Eclipse Pack, in a compromising scandal with the Stars Pack’s heiress.
I strode forward and shoved Jessica away. “Get off! Clinging to someone else’s husband, is that your idea of
fun?”
Jessica’s eyes widened when she saw me. She froze, clearly panicked.
I let my Alpha dominance fill the room, thick and overwhelming. Jessica’s body trembled, and she

instinctively took a step back. “You, why are you here?”
Her face turned crimson as she slowly released her grip on Caden.
He was barely conscious, but when he saw me, he visibly relaxed, clutching my arm as if holding onto an anchor.
He was too weak to speak, but I could see the relief in his eyes.
“I’m here for my husband,” I snapped, glaring at Jessica. “What exactly are you doing draped all over him?”
She avoided my gaze, too ashamed to respond.
“Well? Are you leaving, or do I have to make you?” My voice dropped to a cold growl.
Jessica swayed on her feet, reluctant to leave.
I sneered. Without warning, I shoved her hard, sending her sprawling to the floor.
She let out a dull groan and collapsed.
I caught Caden and helped him to the sofa, then hoisted Jessica onto my shoulder and dragged her into the bedroom. After tossing her unceremoniously onto the bed, I pulled out my phone and sent Jack a message.
“Want revenge on the Stars Pack for stealing Rampage Pack’s assets? Come suite 0613 at the Monarch Hotel.”
Jessica’s POV:
I woke up groggy, my head pounding as I slowly took in my surroundings.
A hotel room? Confused, I sat up and rubbed my temple, trying to piece everything together.
The memories hit me in fragments. Last night, I’d planned to drug Caden. But things went sideways. Rosaline had shown up out of nowhere and kicked me unconscious.
But then, why was I still here?
Something felt wrong. Very wrong. Then I turned and saw a man sleeping next to me.
My eyes widened in horror. I bolted upright, only to realize I wasn’t wearing anything. Panicked, I grabbed the blanket and clutched it tightly against my chest, heart racing.
A sharp ache between my legs jolted me fully awake, and with it came a horrifying realization. I’d slept with him.
The man beside me wasn’t just anyone. He was Jack, the next in line to lead the Rampage Pack.
The moment I saw his face, the memories of last night came crashing back, his lips, his hands, his overwhelming presence. My face went pale as I let out a shrill scream.
“Ah!”
Jack stirred, eyes snapping open. His cold stare locked onto mine.
“What’s with that face?” he asked, voice icy. I clutched the blanket tighter around me, tears burning in my

He smirked cruelly. “Don’t bother pretending to be some righteous untouched angel now. That act doesn’t suit you.”
That hit a nerve. My anger flared. “Excuse me? Are you trying to say you’re the one who got taken advantage of?”
He gave a low, mocking laugh. His eyes glinted with disdain. “Do I really need to spell it out? You were the one begging for it last night. What’s the plan now, hmm? Scream and claim I took advantage of you? Trying to trap me, Ms. Sullivan?”
I lost it. I grabbed the nearest pillow and hurled it at his face. “Trap you? Please. I wouldn’t touch you with a ten–foot pole if I had a choice. I’m the heiress of the Stars Pack, and you? God, look at yourself. You think I need to stoop this low to scheme against you?”
Jack’s expression turned colder. He scanned me from head to toe, full of contempt. “You think batting your eyes is enough? You don’t even come close. Don’t make me laugh.
“Get out,” I hissed. “I never want to see you again.”
My heart was pounding. Rage twisted in my chest. How the hell did he end up here?
Only one person came to mind. Rosaline. That conniving Omega. It had to be her.
Jack didn’t say another word. He calmly got dressed and walked out like nothing had happened.
I snapped. Tears blurred my vision as I tore through the room, smashing everything I could get my hands
