Chapter 781 Shameless Women Always Cling Upwards
Stop acting like this. I was getting irritated.
I’d stepped outside to clear my head, and of course Jessica had chased after me. She wore that same pufu expression–like I was the one who’d wronged her and now, several Eclipse Group werewolves had gathered around, watching the drama unfold.
Sensing trouble, I waved Jessica off, signaling for her to leave.
But seeing the growing crowd, she decided to double down. She grabbed my hand and called out, “You never said no directly–does that mean you have feelings for me?”
Gasps erupted around us. Everyone knew about me and Rosaline. Now, in front of our company building with all these onlookers, Jessica pulling a stunt like this was tabloid gold.
I yanked my hand away, my expression dark.
I was furious. If it weren’t for my grandfather’s respect for the Stars Pack, I’d have had Grandpa toss her out without hesitation.
“This is a public place. Have some dignity, Ms. Sullivan.” I turned to leave.
“I don’t care!” she shouted and lunged at me, wrapping her arms around me. “Don’t you get it? When I came to see you last time, the way you treated me–do you know how much that hurt me?”
She kept talking, but I’d had enough. I shoved her off and didn’t say a word–didn’t even look at her–just walked back into the building.
What I didn’t expect was that someone in the crowd had taken photos of the whole thing and posted them online.
And just like that, rumors about Jessica and me were everywhere.
Rosaline’s POV:
I was casually scrolling through my phone when I saw it. Right there on Twitter was a picture of Jessica clinging to Caden, her face glowing with satisfaction while he leaned slightly away, clearly uncomfortable.
Anyone with eyes could see he wasn’t into it.
But of course, the gossip mill was working overtime–headlines spun the moment into flirtation, twisting. his reluctance into some “subtle romance.” Fans were even gushing in the comments about “sweet tension”
I let out a cold laugh and immediately grabbed my keys, heading straight to Eclipse Group.
When I got there, Jessica was still standing by the building entrance, surrounded by Eclipse Group employees. A few were throwing teasing questions at her, clearly entertained.
Jessica wore her best shy–and–innocent expression like it was designer perfume. The sight made my blood
boil.
I strode forward without a word, grabbed her by the collar, and snapped, “Keep running your mouth and I swear I’ll make you regret it.”

What are you doing? Let go of me! Jessica yelped, clearly recognizing bie–bilt not lookin surprised.
I smirked. “So this is what the Stars Pack heiress does? Showing up at a married man’s workplace to th yourself at him? What’s the plan, huh–seducing every taken men?”
My words hit hard, and Jessica’s face twisted in anger. She shoved me off. “What the hell are you talking about? Don’t slander me! There’s Caden!”

“Oh, nothing?” I snapped back. “Then what was all that grabbing and pawing about out here? Doesn’t look like the behavior of a dignified lady
me.”
“You’re out of line!” she hissed, her voice rising with frustration. “I don’t get what Caden sees in you. First thing you do is go for my throat. Who even acts like that? You look like some psycho off the street!
I gave her a slow, deliberate once–over. “Thank God he chose me. If he’d fallen for you, he’d probably still be crying himself to sleep.”
Then I turned to the crowd, raised my voice, and said, “Well? What are you all waiting for? Go ahead- record us, take pictures. Put it all online.
Jessica’s face drained of color instantly.
er the public decide who’s right.”
